The essay-writing contest to win a Malahide house was to close on Wednesday, April 30 but the homeowners have provided little information on the contest’s status.
Reached by telephone on Tuesday morning, Calvin Brydges was asked if the contest had concluded.
“I have no comment for you people, thank you very much,” Mr. Brydges responded and then ended the call.
Why no comment? The answer ought to have been “yes” or “no”, with the results made known. What’s the secret? Contests are supposed to be run in an open and transparent fashion.
