Young artists at work

Shalom Hernandez, left, and Kaia Macrae drew pictures on the rear parking lot of Malahide Community Place on Thursday, July 24. They were among many youths participating in drop-in activities held every Thursday starting at 10:30 a.m. for participants in the “Eureka!” summer reading club at Springfield library. The club has 123 registered members to date.
