Senior Eagles trounce London South

Senior receiver Tyler Friesen reached out and got his hands on the football but couldn’t gain control for the catch during East Elgin Secondary School’s season opener under the lights at home versus London South Collegiate Institute on Friday, Sept. 19. The Eagles handily won the game 29-7 with touchdowns by Luke Vanderspank, Tyler Vandermeer and Nick Klassen. The Eagles host London Lucas, again under the lights, on Friday, Oct. 3, kickoff at 8 p.m. or a little later if the prior Junior Eagles game lasts longer than expected.
