Evergreen Meadows ends horse show season

Lisa Rioux finished second in Senior Keyhole with a time of 14.876 seconds during the final show of the season for Evergreen Meadows Saddle Club at Aylmer Fairgrounds, Sunday, Sept. 27. Competitors had to ride through a slot of plastic buckets and then make a tight turn before racing back to the finish line. The show was also a fundraiser for a local year-old baby, Piper, receiving treatments for Chiari Malformation of the brain. She had surgery at six months old in an attempt to correct the problem, but now needs another.
