Best ever turnout for Optimist Ham Dinner

A total of 192 tickets were sold, the most ever, for the third annual South Dorchester Optimist Community Ham Dinner held in Lyons at the community centre and fire hall on Friday evening, Sept. 16. Diners had the option of one of two seatings for the feast or takeout for home. Proceeds this year go towards the Mapleton Christian Church Youth Program.
