Eating Together at Valumart

Aylmer Valumart co-owner Martin Miller manned the barbecue during the grocery store’s first Eat Together free hotdog lunch on Friday, June 22. Strawberries and various salads were also on the menu. He said the umbrella company’s promotion celebrated food and how eating together can connect people and a community. Mr. Miller thought the promotion will become an annual event held on the first day of summer. (AE/Craig Bradford)
