Sparta pupils learn how to snowshoe

Environmental educator Shannon Queen, left, helped Sparta Public School Grade 3 pupil Abby Lemke strap on a pair of snowshoes at Jaffa Environmental Education Centre on Wednesday morning, Feb. 18. Ms. Lemke and her classmates were given a quick tutorial on the history of snowshoes and how to put them on before being led out into the snow to try them out for themselves.
