Junior Eagles takes silver in WOSSAA AAA

East Elgin Secondary School’s Paiten Giesbrecht fought with a host London Lucas defender for possession of the ball during a WOSSAA AAA Junior girls basketball tournament, Thursday afternoon, Nov. 19. Despite a hostile crowd, EESS won the game 42-35 to advance to the final against London Catholic Central High. CCH came out on top of that match, 34-28.
